They will find the solution to the pollution crisis in Delhi: CJI Justice Surya Kant
Air pollution in the national capital Delhi is increasing day by day. The air quality index was recorded at hazardous levels on Friday morning as well. AQI levels were recorded above 400 in many areas. Due to this, people are facing severe problems. In this context, Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant (CJI Surya Kant) has expressed concern over the severe pollution in the capital city. He expressed confidence that environmental experts will find an effective solution to this pollution crisis.
In an interview given to a news channel, CJI Justice Suryakant said, “To prevent the air pollution problem plaguing Delhi, measures for a long-term solution are needed rather than short-term relief measures. I am confident that experts will find a solution to this air pollution problem, which is becoming a major challenge to public health.”
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality in the capital city deteriorated significantly on Friday morning. The overall AQI levels in the city were recorded at 305 at around 8 am. The highest air quality index was recorded in Anand Vihar area at 390. The AQI was recorded at 379 in Bawana, 356 in Narela area and 320 in RK Puram. Air quality was recorded better in some other areas of the city. The air quality was recorded at NSIT Dwarka at 253, Aurobindo Marg (258), Mandir Marg (234) and IGI Airport T3 (239).
