Thief along with tractor-trolley arrested, caught by police within 6 hours of complaint
Mahasamund: The thieves along with the tractor-trolley have been arrested. According to the information, Nilambar Patel lodged a report on 26 September 2023 that his tractor number CG 13 UG 8914 and trolley number CG 13 UG 8946, total value of Rs 12 lakh, which he had parked at his Samadhi’s house in Bastipara Saraipali, were stolen by some unknown thief. On the report of the applicant, crime number 247/23 section 379 of Indian Penal Code was registered in police station Saraipali and the entire situation was informed to the police officers.
Seeing the seriousness of the case, Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh (IPS) formed a team and gave instructions to immediately locate the accused, on which under the able guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Rao and under the leadership of SDOP Saraipali Abhishek Kesari, Police Station Incharge Saraipali Inspector Shivanand Tiwari and Police Station Inspector Shivanand Tiwari. After inspecting the spot of incident, the staff was interrogating the property related criminals and people involved in illegal activities on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidences, on the basis of which the suspect was Sunil Siddharth father due to Sidhar age 25 years Pradeep Bhai father Miniketan Bhai Age 30 years Durga Prasad alias Chhotu Vaishnav father Paulasya Vaishno age 23 years all resident of Basti Saraipali were interrogated. Those who tried to mislead the police, after being strictly interrogated, the accused accepted their crime. On the basis of the memorandum of the accused, tractor and trolley of Eicher company were seized from the possession of the accused and the accused were arrested and sent on judicial remand.
