Thief stole goods worth lakhs by breaking locks of railway worker’s house
Bareilly. In Izzatnagar, thieves broke the locks of a railway worker’s house and made away with goods worth lakhs. The family of the railway worker had gone to Lucknow to meet their relatives. The railway worker’s wife has lodged a complaint at Keel police station.
Railway employee Jagveer Singh lives in railway block T-18A of the city. Jagveer Singh’s wife Ramwati told that she had gone to Lucknow with her family to meet a relative. When she returned on January 8, she found that the lock of the house was broken. Everything in the house including the cupboard is in disarray.
He lodged a complaint at Keel police station. I was told that the list of stolen items would be announced later. According to Ramwati, the thieves took away gold jewellery, money and clothes. The police is investigating the matter
