Thieves raid Flipkart and e-commerce office, steal Rs 6 lakh
Durg: Thieves broke the shutters of two shops in Bhilai 3 area of the district last night and committed theft of Rs 5-6 lakh. For the second time in four months, thieves have broken the safe at the same place where they had broken it earlier. Forget about this theft, the police have not been able to find any clue of the old case till now. Two companies named Flipkart and e-commerce have their offices in Dadar area under Old Bhilai police station. Couriers of online orders are parceled to people from this office, and the money received is kept inside a big safe kept here.
On Wednesday night, some unknown people reached here, they lifted the shutter of the shop from the middle and entered inside. After this, they took out the heavy safe kept inside. They took the safes of both the companies to a Patel’s farm about a kilometer away.
There they broke the safe with ease and fled with all the money inside the safe. According to information received from the police, there was 5-6 lakh rupees cash in Flipkart’s safe. The e-commerce safe is said to be empty. The police have registered a case and are investigating, but no information has been found about the accused.
