Thirumavalavan raised questions on the education system and the India alliance
Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: Lok Sabha member and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu party leader Thirumavalavan said on Monday that there is resentment among many constituents of the INDIA alliance regarding the working style of the Congress party in the recent elections. He made this comment when a consultative meeting of the INDIA alliance was held in the country’s capital, in which representatives of various allies participated.
Speaking at the meeting, Thirumavalavan said that some issues have come up regarding coordination and strategy within the alliance, which need to be resolved in time. Although he did not mention any specific dispute in detail, he indicated that there is dissatisfaction among different parties regarding the election strategy and style of leadership.
During this time, he also made serious allegations against the Central Government and raised questions regarding the education system. Thirumavalavan said that the future of the country’s students has been affected due to the alleged mismanagement of the education sector by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. He alleged that frequent incidents of question paper leaks had led to the cancellation or re-conduct of many major examinations.
According to him, such incidents have raised questions on the credibility of the examination system across the country and have affected lakhs of students. He said that despite repeated irregularities, no concrete responsibility has been fixed by the government, due to which dissatisfaction is increasing among students and parents.
Thirumavalavan also alleged that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is responsible for this entire situation, but he is publicly maintaining silence on the issue. He said that lack of accountability in an important field like education is a matter of serious concern.
He further said that there is a need for transparency and improvement in the examination system so that the future of the students can be secured. According to him, frequent paper leaks and examination irregularities are not only affecting the hard work of the students but are also tarnishing the image of the country’s educational system.
Regarding the INDIA alliance meeting, he also indicated that there is a need for better coordination between the opposition parties, so that a strong political strategy can be made in the coming times. He said that if mutual differences are not resolved in time, it may affect the election performance.
Other leaders present at the meeting also discussed various political and organizational issues, although the main focus remained on the upcoming elections and the alliance’s strategy. After Thirumavalavan’s statement, the discussion has intensified in political circles whether the differences within the INDIA alliance are deepening.
Overall, while on one hand this meeting was an attempt to strengthen opposition unity, on the other hand the differences and questions raised in it have also exposed the internal challenges of the alliance.
