Ingredients required to make custard apple kheer-
3-4 custard apple/custard apple
3 tbsp milkmaid
1/4 cup khoya
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 cups full cream milk
1 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp pistachios
1 tbsp cashew nuts
1 tablespoon raisins
Method of making custard apple kheer-
First of all, put cashews, almonds, pistachios and raisins in a pan and fry them on low flame. Keep in mind that these should not burn at all, they should just turn golden in colour.
Now add milk in it, mix it well and let it cook till the milk boils. Keep the flame low and keep cooking until the milk reduces to half.
Now wash and peel the custard apple or custard apple and take out its pulp separately. Mash it well with the help of a spoon.
Add milkmaid and custard apple to the milk, mix well and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
Now add khoya and cardamom powder and let it boil. Then cook it on low flame for 1-2 more minutes.
When the kheer starts appearing thick, turn off the gas and let it cool. Your custard apple kheer is ready. Dedicate it to your ancestors.

Always use full cream milk to make kheer. It helps in thickening the milk.
If you want to enhance the taste, then fry the dry fruits separately in some ghee. After that mix in kheer.
While boiling or cooking milk, do not keep it on high flame. Due to this the cream of milk starts curdling. Always cook milk on low flame.
