Threat to bomb Kerala Secretariat; Police intensified search operation
Thiruvananthapuram: Police on Thursday conducted a thorough search of the administrative complex of the state secretariat here after receiving a bomb threat.
According to sources, the police control room had received a threat call claiming that explosives would be detonated inside the secretariat complex.
In immediate response, police personnel with the assistance of sniffer dogs conducted intensive searches both inside and outside the Secretariat premises.
Even parked vehicles and nearby shops were not exempted from checking.
Unconfirmed reports say that the culprit behind the call has been identified by police.
