Three accused who attacked journalist arrested

Korba. There was a fatal attack on a journalist in Korba. Police have arrested three accused in this case. The police presented them in the court from where they were taken to jail after their bail was cancelled. But on the way the main accused managed to escape. Police is searching for absconding accused Rahul Chauhan. It is noteworthy that, on the night of 26th August, three members of the gang which carried out the fatal attack on journalist Umesh Yadav near Ghantaghar were arrested by the Manikpur outpost police.

Main accused Rahul Chauhan resident of Podibahar, Vijay Kanwar resident of Darri and Arjun Yadav resident of Pump House Colony Korba were presented in the court. Since a case of robbery was registered against them, the court directed to send all three to jail in the absence of bail. Policemen Rajesh Dubey, Sanjay Sahu and Ratan Kumar were taking Rahul Vijay and Arjun to Korba jail. Rahul Chauhan escaped by dodging the police personnel near the jail. Now Korba Police has tried its best to search for Rahul Chauhan who has absconded again. Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla and Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma themselves are taking every moment information in this matter.
