Three children drowned in a pond in Delhi
New Delhi (IANS) | Three children drowned in a pond in Delhi’s Yamuna Khadar area on Wednesday. An officer gave this information. According to the police, information about the case was received through a PCR call around 12:24 pm on Wednesday. Following which a police team led by the SHO of Shastri Park Police Station, who was already in the area to investigate the murder, reached the spot.
A police officer said that it was learned that three children, aged around 12-13 years, drowned in the pond while taking a bath. The police along with some local residents pulled out the three children from the pond and rushed them to JPC Hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
The bodies have been taken to GTB Hospital for postmortem, the official said. All the three children are residents of Bhagwanpur Kheda village of Shahdara.
