Three disabled children of Karnataka died after falling from the train
Chennai: Three children, including two brothers, all of whom are said to be disabled, were killed when they were hit by a suburban train near Urapakkam on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday.
All three were aged between 11 and 15 years and were from Karnataka. Police said that they were hit by the train while crossing the tracks.
A police officer said, ‘Two of the three brothers were deaf and dumb while the third could not speak.’ His parents were daily wage laborers in Chennai. Railway police has registered the case.
