Three teachers absconded, department suspended

Narayanpur. Director of Public Instruction i.e. DPI has suspended three teachers who molested girl students. The matter is of Narayanpur district of Bastar. The students of Pre-Secondary School, Edka had complained of molestation against their teachers. DPI had formed an inquiry committee on this. On the other hand, a crime was registered against the three teachers under various sections of the POCSO Act in the police station.

On the other hand, the District Child Protection Unit had also investigated it. Prima facie, the case against the three teachers was becoming serious. On this basis, DPI suspended three teachers today. The teachers who were suspended include Narendra Singh Thakur, Narayan Prasad Dewangan and Dharmendra Dewangan. After the crime was registered, these three teachers are missing from the school since March 10, 2024. There is no trace of them.
