Through ‘Mission Daksh’ in Bihar, government school children will become proficient in studies.
Patna : Now in Bihar, the government is going to start Mission Daksh to make the weak children of government schools proficient. Under this, special classes will be conducted for the weak children of the school, so that these children can be at par with other children in studies. An education department official said that special classes will be set up to teach more than 25 lakh children of classes 3 to 8 in government schools. These classes will be conducted daily from December 1st. These classes will be held after the school activities are over or after the lunch break.
It is said that the Education Department has sent a letter in this regard to the district officials of all the districts. The official said that a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of district officials for its operation. Each teacher will have to teach a maximum of five children. It has been told that an examination of these children will be taken at the district level in April next year, if the children are not able to pass then the responsibility will be on the concerned headmaster and teachers. The department has included those children in the category of weak children who have less knowledge or understanding than the level of the class in which they are studying.
