TI caught 4 gamblers who gambled away lakhs
Raigarh. On the direction of SP Divyang Kumar Patel, vigorous action is being taken against gambling, betting and illegal liquor in the district. On the instructions of SP Raigarh, the newly appointed Municipal Superintendent of Police of the district Akash Shukla is taking action against illegal liquor and gambling by activating informers. In the same sequence, today afternoon, on the information received from the informer, a gambling raid was conducted in village Navagaon by the joint team of Chakradharnagar police station and cyber cell under the leadership of CSP Akash Shukla. On the spot, four persons were found gambling. Seeing the police cordon, one person started running away in a Hero Honda Activa and was caught by the policemen.

(2) Prakash Aggarwal father Rajaram Aggarwal age 38 years resident Gandhiganj Raigarh
(3) Pradeep Jaiswal, father late Jagdish Jaiswal, 60 years old, Hatari Police Station Kotwali.
(4) Dayaram Agarwal, father Ramkumar Agarwal, age 65 years, Sub Inspector, Civil Lines.
Cash of Rs 2,46,600 (two lakh forty six thousand six hundred rupees) and an Activa Scooty have been seized from Raigarh Police Station. Along with the Gambling Act proceedings, separate action under restrictive sections has been taken against the gamblers in Chakradharnagar police station. In the gambling raid proceedings, City Superintendent of Police Mr. Akash Shukla, Station Incharge Chakradharnagar Inspector Prashant Rao Aher, Assistant Sub Inspector Nand Kumar Sarathi, Head Constable Mahendra Karsh, Constable Chudamani Gupta, Nand Kumar Paikara and Cyber Cell Head Constable Rajesh Patel, Durgesh Singh, Constable Pratap Behera, Vikas Pradhan, were included.
