Tikrapara youth arrested for selling liquor

Raipur: Accused Shahnawaz Khan has been arrested with liquor. According to the information, Tikrapara police received information that a person has liquor with him near Shriram Maidan located in Santoshi Nagar Taj Nagar under Tikrapara police station area and is looking for a customer to sell it. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of Tikrapara police station in-charge, a team of Tikrapara police station went to the said place, traced the person of the description given by the informer, identified him and arrested him.

During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Shahnawaz Khan, resident of Tikrapara Raipur. The bag kept with him by the team members was searched and country liquor was found in the bag on the lane. When Shahnawaz Khan was asked to provide valid documents regarding the possession and sale of liquor, an attempt was being made to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document. On which the accused Shahnawaz Khan was arrested and illegally kept from his possession 83 pauvas of country liquor worth about Rs 8,000/- were seized and action was taken against the accused by registering the crime number 444/23 Section 34(2) of the Excise Act in police station Tikrapara. to be done.
