Till now 9 pilgrims died during Amarnath Yatra

Nine pilgrims have died so far this year during the Amarnath Yatra, one of the most difficult pilgrimages in the country. According to the information, in the last two days only 6 pilgrims died. Let us tell you that the Amarnath Yatra, which started from July 01, will continue till August 31. Due to continuous rains and bad weather on the mountains, there is a lot of trouble in the journey. Due to which the pilgrimage has to be stopped again and again. Meanwhile, on Friday, officials told that the death toll in the pilgrimage has increased to nine so far this year. However, the official did not give much information about how and for what reasons the pilgrims died.
It is believed that Amarnath pilgrims died due to heart attack due to high altitude and low oxygen. Because such cases are considered normal during Amarnath Yatra. According to officials, 25 people have also been injured during the yatra so far. Eight passengers and one ITBP jawan are also included in those who lost their lives.
Tokens issued to three thousand devotees on Friday
Let us inform that like every year in this yatra to be held in the month of Shravan, a large number of devotees of Bholnath are going on the Amarnath Yatra. In this month the devotees of Shiva get the good fortune to visit Bholenath. For this, devotees register themselves before going on the Amarnath Yatra. Long queues were seen outside Saraswati Dham for immediate registration in Jammu on Friday as well. Every day thousands of devotees are registering themselves to go on the Amarnath Yatra. Tokens were issued to more than 3000 devotees at the Jammu base camps on Friday. Out of these, two thousand Shiva devotees have been sent to Pahalgam and one thousand to Amarnath via Baltal route.
