Tomato theft in Chhattisgarh, vegetable businessman reached the police station
Korba. Unknown people stole a box of tomatoes from the house of a young man doing tomato business. He has complained to the police about the theft of tomatoes. Police have started investigation by registering a crime against unknown accused. The increased prices of tomatoes have troubled everyone in today’s era. Tomato, which was once sold at the rate of five to ten rupees per kg, is now being sold at the rate of one hundred to one hundred and fifty rupees per kg. This is the reason why economically weak people have started refraining from buying tomatoes. Meanwhile, theft of tomatoes has also started happening.
One such case has come to the Manikpur Chowki area of Korba, where a box of tomatoes belonging to vegetable businessman Kailash Tandon, a resident of SECL’s Jhopdipara, was crossed by unknown people. Kailash told that he had bought five boxes of tomatoes to sell. Till night there were five boxes of tomatoes at his house, but on seeing in the morning, one box had been stolen. Kailash has complained to the police about the theft of tomatoes. Police have started investigation by registering a crime against unknown accused.
Vegetable seller Kailash says that only some knowledgeable person must have stolen tomatoes from his house. Even before this such incident had happened to him, but he had not complained to the police.
