Traffic in-charge took action on 40 school buses found defective
Dhamtari. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur, under the guidance of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Mani Shankar Chandra, under the leadership of traffic in-charge Satyakala Ramteke, the team of Police, Transport and Health Department, under the leadership of traffic in-charge Satyakala Ramteke, signed lease contracts in educational institutions and institutions by the team of Police, Transport and Health Department. School bus checking was done by the Ministry of Fitness, Permit, Insurance, Pollution and Transport Department of the buses operating under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 Rule 76 “B” on the points of school bus license conditions in the premises of the new transport office located at Nagri Road Bhoyna .
In which the district’s St. Xavier’s School, Vidyakunj Loharsi School, Sarvodaya School Model. School, Vidyakanj Memorial School, Samadhan Vidyalaya Mandraud, K.C.P.S School Kurud, DPS School Dhamtari, Mennonite School Dhamtari, a total of 58 school buses were inspected, in which 40 school vehicles were fitted with fitness, GPS, speed governor. 72,500/- was recovered by taking challan action on the said vehicles under the Motor Vehicles Act, due to camera, light, indicator, and maintenance not being correct and instructions were given to submit the certificate within a week by rectifying the defects.
During school bus inspection, eye and health training of 46 vehicle drivers was done by the health department team, in which 04 vehicle drivers were advised to wear spectacles due to weak eyesight. The drivers were informed about the traffic rules by organizing a traffic training workshop for the drivers present in the inspection camp. In the said inspection investigation, Mr. Ramakrishna Sahu, Suresh Netam, Pr. Kamalkishore Sahu, R. Moh. Sainik Dogesh Sahu, Assistant Eye Officer Shri P.N. Sahu B.K.Shukla, Indrajit Sahu be present.
