Rajnandgaon. A speeding truck hit three friends riding a bike in the district on Sunday. The youths fell off the bike, due to which all three died on the spot. There is an atmosphere of anger among the villagers about the accident. The matter is of Murmunda Tiraha of Ghumka police station area. According to the information received, the deceased include Bhuvan Yadav (30), Tuleshwar Yadav (26) and Narad Yadav (30). All three were residents of Murmunda village. The collision was so severe that the bones of all three youths were shattered.
The speeding truck was coming from Bemetara, as soon as it reached near Murmunda Tiraha, it crushed the bike riders. The bodies of all three were torn into pieces. Local people immediately informed the ambulance and police. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot. The bodies of all three were sent to Rajnandgaon Medical College Mortuary through ambulance. After postmortem, the bodies will be handed over to their families today.
In this case, police station in-charge Basant Baghel said that when he reached with his team, blood was scattered on the road. The truck driver has been arrested. His family has been informed. Police is investigating the matter.
