Tragic accident: Tempo traveler fell into 100 feet deep ditch in Malla Ramgarh, three died
Nainital. A tragic road accident took place in Uttarakhand on Friday, in which three tourists died while 19 people were injured. The accident took place in Malla Ramgarh area of Nainital district, where a tempo traveler filled with tourists went out of control and fell into a ditch about 100 feet deep.
According to the information, the tempo traveler was going from Bhawali towards Mukteshwar. All the people in the vehicle had come to Uttarakhand for sightseeing. As the vehicle reached Malla Ramgarh, the driver lost control and the tempo traveler fell off the road into a ditch.
There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. Local people immediately started relief and rescue operations and informed the police and administration.
Three tourists died on the spot
As soon as information about the accident was received, police and rescue teams reached the spot. An operation was started to rescue the passengers from the vehicle that had fallen into the ditch. During this period, the death of three youths was confirmed.
At the same time, 19 tourists injured in the accident were immediately taken to the nearest health center. Many of the injured have suffered serious injuries. After first aid, seeing the condition of six injured people as serious, they were referred to a higher center for better treatment.
Women and a 10 month old child were also among the injured.
According to the administration, those injured in the accident include 12 men, eight women and a 10-month-old child. All the injured tourists are said to be residents of Delhi and Faridabad in Haryana.
After receiving information about the accident, the administration has started the process of treating the injured and contacting their families. The injured are being monitored in hospitals.
Panic created among tourists
