Treatment of livestock continues at Qazi House
Bhilai. Two Qazi Houses are being operated in the Municipal Corporation Bhilai area. One is near D Mart, the other is in Kosa Nala. Hundreds of stray animals are kept in both. Calves, bulls etc. are kept in D Mart and cows and buffaloes are kept in Kosa Nala. The corporation administration is making arrangements for fodder, water and treatment of the animals.
Many accident-prone animals are fighting among themselves and are injured and in a sick state, they are brought and admitted to Bharati. Commissioner Rajiv Kumar Pandey had written a letter to the Deputy Director of Veterinary Department demanding the provision of a medical team for the treatment of injured and sick animals. Under the same, a team of three doctors has been formed by the Director of Veterinary Department. Both of them are treating animals in Qazi House. If animals die due to illness, their post-mortem will also be done. So that it can be known what is the reason for the death of the animals. Sufficient quantity of Para, Kutti has been ordered from rural areas for animal fodder. A bore has been started for the arrangement of drinking water. Green fodder has been arranged so that the animals do not face any kind of problem. The medical team has been instructed to come every day and treat the animals at the Urban Qazi House. They are performing their duties; during the treatment it was told that many people throw away the film along with the food material. The animals eat it and this causes bloating of their stomachs. They become sick, water starts running from their nose and their treatment becomes difficult. Municipal Corporation Bhilai appeals to the citizens not to throw away the food material by keeping it in the film and foil; be kind to the animals.
