Troubled by blackmail, married woman commits suicide
Gurgaon. In Shivaji Nagar, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself after being blackmailed by a young man. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into their custody and started investigation. Police have not found any suicide note from the spot. Whereas liquor bottle and cigarette have been recovered from the room.
On the complaint of the deceased’s father, the police have registered a case against the youth. In the complaint given to the police, Om Nagar resident Kamal Singh said that he had married his daughter Anuradha to Santosh Sahni. Anuradha lived in Shantinagar with her family. His son-in-law works in an export company based in Manesar.
It is alleged that Kiran Pal used to come to the house after Santosh left for duty. The daughter’s in-laws protested against this and forbade her from coming to the house. Despite this, he stopped coming home. Kamal Singh alleged that Kiran Pal had called Anuradha on Wednesday night. He harassed Anuradha so much on the phone that she was forced to commit suicide by hanging herself from the fan on Thursday. On receiving information, police reached the spot and recovered liquor bottle and cigarette from the room. The police registered a case and started investigation.
