Truck collided with pickup of devotees

Harvest. A painful road accident took place in MP’s Katni. On the Pipraundh Bridge, a speeding truck hit a pickup full of devotees from the front and fled from the spot. Three devotees were killed and 15 were injured in the accident. The accident has been reported above the Piparoundh Bridge of Madhavnagar police station area, where three people died on the spot itself. As soon as the information about the accident was received, ambulances from Doyle 100 to 108 admitted the injured to the district hospital. His treatment is still going on.
Collector Avi Prasad told that 18 people riding the pickup are from Barela village of Jabalpur. While returning from Maihar after visiting Maa Sharda, he met with an accident near Pipraundh in Katni. The relatives of the deceased will be given assistance as per the rules fixed by the government.
