Truck collides with car on overbridge, two youths killed

Varanasi. A speeding unknown truck hit the car on Lathiya overbridge of Rohaniya police station area. In this accident, two youths traveling in the car were killed and five people were injured. As soon as the information about this accident took place on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, the police team reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital.
Seven people including Shivam, Manoj, Ajit, Dinanath, Anil from village Pithla in Ayodhya were coming by car to Varanasi to visit Baba Vishwanath. As soon as the car reached Lathiyan overbridge late on Saturday night, it was hit by a speeding truck coming from behind. Car occupants Shivam and Manoj died on the spot in the accident, while Ajit, Dinanath, Anil, car driver Mohammad Israt and another were injured. The local police have informed the relatives of the injured and the deceased about the incident. Police sent both the bodies for post-mortem on Sunday morning.
