Bhopal: A cargo lorry driver acted recklessly. He dragged the car for some distance. The people in the car did not pay attention even after pleading with them. Finally, the locals stopped the lorry. The driver was beaten up and handed over to the police. (Truck Drags Car) This video clip has gone viral on social media. The incident took place in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. In the early hours of Sunday morning, a cargo lorry from Rajasthan was moving on the Dabra-Gwalior National Highway near Bajera village. It hit a car from Madhya Pradesh that was parked on the side of the road. The lorry then dragged the car for about 1.5 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the three people in the car shouted for help. They begged the driver to stop the lorry. A man chased the lorry on a bike. The driver ignored them even though they told him to stop the lorry. Finally, the driver tried to drive away by pushing the car into a pothole on the side of the road.
On the other hand, locals in the Bilawa area stopped the lorry. The driver was attacked and beaten up by a mob. When the police reached there, the driver was handed over. It is reported that a Special Armed Forces officer was also among the passengers in the car. The police have seized the lorry. The incident is being investigated. However, a shocking video clip of the car being dragged by the lorry has gone viral on social media.
