Truck driver absconded with aluminum sheet worth lakhs, case registered

Raipur. The truck which left for Siliguri after loading aluminum bundles did not reach even after a fortnight. On the report of the company, the Urla police have registered a case of cheating in trust against the truck driver. According to the police, on July 19, the driver of truck number CG 07-AX-3849, Ranvijay, left Ultra Aluminum Private Limited Urla with 144 bundles of aluminum sheets. Its price is Rs. 22.19 lakhs.

It was to take the truck to Supreme Trading Siliguri. When the truck did not arrive even after a week, the operators of Supreme Trading contacted Urla. They were informed about the departure. Even after one more week, when the truck did not reach, a report was filed on behalf of Pankaj Tiwari (59) on behalf of Ultra Limited on Saturday evening. Police have registered a case under section 407 and started searching for the driver and truck.
