Truck driver trampled young man, then dragged his body for several kilometers

Hamirpur: A bike rider was crushed by a truck late at night on the National Highway in Hamirpur district of UP. Then he dragged her for five kilometres. The back rider died tragically in this accident. His body was found several kilometers away from the place where the bike was lying. At present, the police is searching for the absconding truck driver.

Let us tell you that the incident took place on Kanpur-Sagar Highway (NH 34) of Hamirpur district. Where 28 year old Shashikant Yadav was returning home after finishing his duty late at night. Then a truck crushed him on the way. The bike got separated from the truck after traveling some distance. But the truck driver dragged Shashikant for about 5 kilometers.

After the incident, the truck driver fled from the spot with his vehicle. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. At present, the police team is searching for the truck that caused the accident.

The family members of deceased Shashikant told that the truck had dragged the body for five kilometers. Shashikant used to work in Hindustan Unilever factory. He was going to Sumerpur after duty. Then an unknown truck crushed him due to which he died on the spot.

Local people said that due to lack of divider on Kanpur-Sagar NH-34 passing through Hamirpur, people keep dying in accidents every day. Due to which this highway has come to be called bloody highway. The latest accident is also the latest example of this. At present, the search for the truck is going on.
