Truck hit the standing Hydra, jam on the highway
Batauli. A truck hit the Hydra parked near the Sedam bridge in Chhattisgarh’s Surguja district on Saturday morning. Due to this the Hydra overturned on the road and the national highway got jammed. There was a jam for two kilometers on both sides of the road. Actually, the work of asphalting of Sedam bridge is going on. The employees of the contractor are staying there by making tents on the roadside. Construction material is kept on some part of the road while Hydra was also parked on half of the road. It is being told that the Hydra did not start late in the night, due to which the driver left it there.
In the morning a truck hit Hydra and fled the scene. The collision was so strong that the Hydra was completely damaged, causing a jam there. The apathy of the NH department and the negligence of the contractor are affecting the common people. The result of their mistake is that, till date, the repair material kept on the road has not been removed from there. On the other hand, the Batauli police is continuously engaged in opening the jam. Fortunately, the Hydra, which was standing in the middle of the national highway, collided with it and overturned on the empty road. Otherwise, it could have fallen on the laborers sleeping by putting up tents nearby and a big accident could have happened.
