According to the information, the incident happened last night. Paragaon is the last village of Raipur district, which is on National Highway 53. CG06 GP 5155 was going from Saraipali to Bhilai carrying iron goods. The speeding truck went out of control near Paragaon and hit the SST point, passenger waiting room and temporary check post. In the incident, videographer Dhananjay Dhivar (aged 22), resident of village Chhatauna (Farfoud), died tragically, while head constable Uttam Soni, posted at Arang police station, was injured. At the time of the incident, accused truck driver Gopal Sonwani and helper Virendra Sidar were intoxicated. Police have taken the truck driver and helper into custody. The administration has conducted the post-mortem of deceased Dhananjay Dhivar and handed over the body to his family members.
