Tushar Deshpande’s hat-trick, Mumbai beats Mizoram by 9 wickets
Jaipur. With the help of a hat-trick by IPL team Chennai Super Kings fast bowler Tushar Deshpande, Mumbai defeated Mizoram by 9 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match at KL Saini ground on Friday.
Bowling first, Mumbai bowlers did not give any chance to Mizoram batsmen to settle down by attacking at regular intervals. Tushar led the bowling with a tremendous opening spell and achieved a hat-trick in the second over.
With his ability to swing both ways, he first dismissed Vikas Kumar, and then dismissed Jehu Anderson and Joseph Lalthankuma with his tremendous length bowling.
Tushar’s phenomenal performance by taking 17 wickets in 10 matches with an economy of 6.72 has been the guiding force for Mumbai’s victory.
Chasing the small target of 77 runs, Mumbai batsmen achieved the target by losing one wicket in just six overs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal chased the target by scoring 46 runs in 22 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes and the team won the match by 9 wickets.
