Two accused arrested with 50 kg of Bhukki

Udhampur : Udhampur Police has arrested two smugglers who recovered 50 kg of Bhukki from a truck during the checkpoint in Jakhaini. According to the information, on the basis of secret information, Udhampur police, under the leadership of station in-charge Udhampur Raghuveer Singh Choudhary, set up a blockade and started checking the vehicles.

During checking, a truck number JK02AC-7519 which was going from Srinagar towards Punjab was stopped for investigation. When it was examined, 50 kg of Bhukki hidden in it was recovered. In this connection, the police have arrested the driver and co-driver of the truck, identified as Kulwinder Singh, resident of Reasi and Kuldeep Raj, resident of Jammu, and have registered a case against them and started further investigation.
