Two accused who entered the house and gang-raped a woman arrested

Janjgir-Champa: Two accused who entered the house and gang-raped a woman have been arrested. The accused entered the house and gang-raped the woman. According to the complaint of the victim, on September 28, the victim was alone at home in the afternoon. During this time, accused Ravi Kumar and Mangatu Ram came to the victim’s house and inquired about the victim’s husband. Taking advantage of the husband’s absence, both the accused gang-raped the victim by pressing her hands and mouth. After the incident, they fled from the spot after threatening to kill.

After the incident, the victim woman reached Janjgir police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. Police booked under sections 376, (2) (f), 376 (d), 323, 506 IPC. Both were arrested. During interrogation, both the accused admitted to the incident. Inspector Ashok Vaishno, Sub Inspector Bhavani Singh Chauhan, Lady Head Constable Manju Singh R participated in the action.
