Two accused who set fire to car arrested
Bhopal. The police have arrested two accused after uncovering the incident of arson in an SUV parked outside the house in TT Nagar area on the intervening night of November 2. The accused had committed this incident due to old enmity. The police are interrogating the accused. According to ACP TTnagar Chandrashekhar Pandey, on November 2, Amendra Prajapati’s SUV was parked locked outside his house and some unknown person set his SUV on fire. Two other vehicles also caught fire in this arson. After complaining about the incident, the police registered an FIR in the matter, formed a team and started investigation.
When the police inquired nearby, it was found that the face of one of the accused had also been burnt during the arson incident. On this, the police found out about the accused and got information about a person named Amit Chauhan, 31, resident of 12 Daftari Baganganga, TT Nagar. When the police took him into custody and interrogated him, it came to light that accused Amit Chauhan along with his associate Govind Khatik had committed the incident of setting the vehicle on fire. Police have arrested both the accused. There was a dispute with the accused regarding assault on the owner of the SUV. There was a dispute between the two regarding this, to take revenge the accused had set his vehicle on fire.
