Two bikers drowned in Ravi river, body of one found
Chamba (Himachal Pradesh): An accident has occurred near the New Bus Stand in Chamba district. Here on the night of Diwali, two bike riders fell into the Ravi river. Due to the fast flow of the river, both of them could not find any clue. People came to know about the incident on Monday morning when they saw the bike fallen on the roadside. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and started searching for the youth. In the afternoon, the police team recovered the body of a youth who had gone missing after being swept away in the Ravi river, near Parel bridge. The deceased youth has been identified as Abhay, resident of village Chhudra. However, no trace of the other youth who was swept away in the river has been found yet.

The deceased youth has been identified as Chudra, resident of Abhay village. However, no trace of the other youth who was swept away in the river has been found yet. On the other hand, when Chamba MLA Neeraj Nayyar came to know about this, he immediately reached the accident site and instructed the SP to gather information in this matter and find the missing youth soon. The MLA also assured all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
