Two cattle died due to electrocution
Rajnandgaon. Two cattle died due to electrocution due to breaking of a high tension electric wire at the house of a cattle herder in Kanharpuri on Wednesday morning. At the same time, some cattle have also got a strong shock from the current. Angered by the killing of cattle, the villagers and the ward councilor have warned to register an FIR demanding action against the electrical officers. In this regard, EE of Electricity Department Alok Dubey said that the compensation case is being prepared on the basis of AE’s report. Action will be taken as per rules.
According to the information received, Maujiram Yadav, a resident of Kanharpuri, had more than a dozen cattle in a shed built in a tin shed. At around 6.30 in the morning, suddenly the 11 KV electric wire broke and fell on top of the tin shed. Due to which the current spread from the tin and took the cattle in the grip. Two cattle died due to electrocution. Whereas other cattle started fluttering due to the shock of the current. Due to being some distance from the tin shed, a member of the Yadav family had a narrow escape.
