Two-day conference of IAS, IPS, and IFS officers chaired by the Chief Minister to be held in Chennai starting June 29.

Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: An important two-day conference is being organized to discuss issues related to administrative reforms, law and order and development. This meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Joseph Vijay on June 29 and 30 at the Chennai Secretariat. Top administrative, police and forest department officials of the state will attend this conference.

This annual conference is part of a regular administrative process of the Government of Tamil Nadu, in which important topics like law and order situation of the state, administrative functioning, implementation of welfare schemes, investment opportunities and industrial development are discussed in detail. This time, for the first time after the formation of the new government, this meeting is being organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, due to which it is being considered even more important.

Senior IAS officers, IPS officers and IFS officers will participate in this two-day conference. Along with this, District Collector, District Superintendent of Police and District Forest Officer of all the districts will also be present in this meeting.

The main objective of the conference is to strengthen administrative coordination in the state and establish better coordination between various departments. Along with this, the schemes run by the government will also be reviewed at the ground level, so that their effectiveness can be further increased.

Questions are continuously being raised by the opposition parties regarding law and order in the state. The opposition alleges that the security system in the state is being affected. In such a situation, this conference is being considered very important from both political and administrative point of view. It is expected that concrete strategies to strengthen law and order will be discussed in the meeting.

Apart from this, special attention will also be given to attracting investment and accelerating industrial development. The aim of the government is to increase employment opportunities in the state and give a new direction to economic activities.

According to officials, this conference will not only be a platform for policy making and review, but will also play an important role in making the administrative system of the state more effective and transparent.
