This time, there was a stir among the liquor lovers when two dead ants were found inside a sealed bottle of liquor purchased from the liquor shop of Pratappur in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh.

Now adulterators are even packing dead ants in bottles. Due to this, the possibility of poisonous animals like lizard, scorpion, centipede etc being found in liquor cannot be ruled out.
Liquor lovers say that this game is not possible without the connivance of the local administration. At the back of the shops and warehouses, employees seal and open branded and expensive liquor, half the liquor is filled with water in the other empty bottle, one bottle of liquor is mixed with water, two bottles are prepared and then sealed and fake labels are applied again like the original packing.
Due to which double the earning is being done in one bottle. It has been alleged that the department officials are collecting its share and that is why no action is taken even after complaints.
