Two Indian students found dead under suspicious circumstances in America
Amaravati/Hyderabad: Two students, one from Wanaparthy in Telangana and the other from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh, were found dead at their residence in Connecticut, United States recently. The family of the Telangana student neither knows the cause of his death nor the whereabouts of his roommate. Dinesh’s relatives said, “Dinesh’s friends, who live in a nearby room, called us on Saturday night and informed us about his and his roommate’s death. We don’t know how he died.” According to a family member, Dinesh went to Hartford, Connecticut, EE. U.U., on December 28, 2023, to conduct higher studies, while Nikesh arrived a few days later. In fact, they were friends with some of the same friends and became classmates after coming to the United States. A family member of Dinesh said that they have sought help from Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Minister Principal A Revanth Reddy to recover Dinesh’s body. Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy also helped in recovering Dinesh’s body. Called the family members of the deceased student and consoled them. Furthermore, a member of Dinesh’s family said that he had no contact with Nikesh’s family members or that both of them had recently visited the United States. Similarly, Srikakulam district administration also has no information about Nikesh yet. K Balaraju, DSP, Special Division, Srikakulam Police, said that even the District Collector did not get information about Nikesh or his family members. Expressing grief over the death of the student, Wanaparthy MLA T Megha Reddy met the family members of the deceased student in Wanaparthy town and expressed his condolences. The MLA spoke to Telangana Minister Principal A Revanth Reddy regarding bringing the student’s body from the United States to India. The Prime Minister responded positively and said that he was taking measures to return the body to its original place. The MLA said that the Vanarpathy student had traveled to the United States on December 28 (last year) for higher studies.
