Two injured in firing in Saidpur village

Two people were involved in the firing that took place in Saidpur village on Friday. The heirs were identified as Akashdeep Singh and Pradeep Singh Rana, residents of Saidpur village.

Naik Akashdeep in his statement told the police that everyone was enjoying a function celebrating the birth of a child in a villager’s house, during which Arjan Singh was shot in the air. Akashdeep beats up Arjan for not taking the celebratory shot, which leads to a verbal altercation between them.

Akashdeep and his friends left the place and headed towards a restaurant in Harike, where Arjan arrived and opened fire against them. Akashdeep and Pradeep Singh were shot in the incident. ASI Ravinder Singh visited the spot and registered a case against the fleeing suspects.
