Two more Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza ground offensive, total reaches 33
Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday that two more of its soldiers lost their lives in Gaza, bringing the total number of casualties since the ground invasion, which began on October 27, to 33.
The two soldiers have been identified as Sergeant First Class Eliyahu Benjamin Elmakayes (29), from Jerusalem, and Staff Sergeant Noam Yosef Abou (20), from Dimona. According to the IDF, they were killed during intense combat with Hamas militants in the besieged enclave.
To clarify, more than 350 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives since Hamas initiated its attack against Israel on October 7.
