Two polling workers and BSF jawan injured in IED blast
Kanker: Today, an IED explosion in Kanker resulted in injuries to a BSF jawan and two members of the polling party. The incident occurred as a joint team comprising BSF and the District Force was en route from Camp Marbeda to the Rengaghati Rengagondi polling station, accompanied by four polling party members from the Chhotabetiya police station in Kanker district. Fortunately, the injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment, and their condition is reported as stable. This update has been confirmed by local law enforcement.
The casualties of this incident include BSF constable Chandraprakash Seval and two employees of the polling party, all of whom serve as presiding officers. Their health condition is assessed to be satisfactory, and they are currently undergoing treatment in Chhotebethiya.
