Two smugglers arrested with 10 liters of country made liquor

Majhauliya: The local police has arrested two liquor smugglers from the famous Ahwar Kudiyan fair with 11 ATM English liquor and 10 liters of country made liquor and sent them to jail. The information was given by Inspector cum Police Station Head Akhilesh Kumar Mishra.

He said that two suspects were seen during patrolling in the fair. When searched, one smuggler, Lalan Rai, a resident of Bariyariya of Sangrampur police station area of East Champaran district, was arrested with 11 ATM of English liquor, while the other, a resident of Shekhavana of Jagdishpur police station area, was arrested with 10 liters of liquor. A case has been registered against them under Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and they have been sent to jail after medical examination.
