Unknown caller gave wrong information to student about failure, asked for thousands of rupees to pass

Surajpur. Students appearing for class 10th and 12th board exams continue to receive fraud calls. The latest case is from Navapara Kala village of Premnagar area, where class 10 student Neelima Sidar had received a call that she was divided in two subjects and if she wanted to pass, she should pay Rs 4500.

The student got scared of failing and without informing anyone she sent money to cyber thugs. A result was also sent to the student on WhatsApp in which her marks in all subjects are quite good. It was claimed that when the result is announced, your number will be the same.

After the news was shown in the media, the student realized that she had become a victim of fraud and finally informed her family about it, after which a complaint was lodged at Premnagar police station.
