UP government started ‘Every right for every child’ campaign

Lucknow (ANI): To ensure equal opportunities for students, the Yogi Adityanath government on Saturday launched the ‘Every Right for Every Child’ campaign, which focuses on the theme of ‘equality and inclusion’.
Led by Power Angel and Bal Sansad, the campaign will include daily activities in all primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi schools till November 25.
The theme of the program was “Gender Equality: Providing equal opportunities for every student; Care and Support: To be a champion for every child in families, homes, schools, sports, careers, health care and child protection facilities, community and public life”. ,

On 18th November, as part of the campaign at the school level, important activities were organized involving teachers, students, guest speakers, officials and experts discussing the laws, schemes and benefits made for children by the State and Central Governments. Were done.
Similarly, on November 20, there will be a program of quiz, stories, poems, slogans, debate, science projects, handicrafts, songs, dance, drama etc. on the theme of Child Rights, which will combine entertainment and learning.
Similarly, on November 21, there will be activities related to right to play, organizing sports day, organizing indoor and outdoor games, checking the health, nutrition and hygiene of children.

On 22nd November, there will be street plays and programs related to Student Police Cadets, Scouts and Guides in schools and communities led by Meena Manch and Power Angels.

On November 23, activities such as paintings made by children, an art exhibition, a children’s fair, a child rights festival and cultural programs will be displayed for parents and the community.
Along with this, activities like child helpline, career portal, mental health counseling and mock drill on cyber security will be organized.

A children’s film festival is going to be held on November 24, in which an inspirational film will be shown every day. Guest speakers including executives, doctors, engineers, police officers, athletes or popular artists will be invited to share their experiences and achievements to inspire the children.

Interactive sessions have been conducted with students, and teachers have been equipped with a simple module for the purpose.
Similarly, a team of student representatives, Bal Sansad and Meena Manch members will be formed to conduct a survey on child rights, gender equality and child safety inside and outside the school premises on November 25.
They will identify areas of concern, such as broken switchboards, open sewers, potholes, exposed and fallen electrical wires, thorny bushes, electric poles, waterlogging in the premises and unsafe boundaries.

A detailed list of such places will be submitted to the Principal and Village Head for necessary corrective action.
Along with this, SMC will share issues and suggestions with the principals and officials to honor the teachers, students and citizens who have advocated for child rights. (ANI)
