Upendra Kushwaha, who came to meet Amit Shah, may join the NDA
New Delhi (IANS) | Upendra Kushwaha, who broke away from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JDU and formed his new political party Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal, is meeting former BJP national president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. The meeting between the two leaders continues in the Ministry of Home Affairs. This meeting of Upendra Kushwaha and Amit Shah is being considered very important for the new political equation that is changing rapidly in Bihar. It is being said that Upendra Kushwaha may join the NDA again with his new party. Kushwaha had opened a front against the Nitish-Lalu alliance even while he was in Nitish Kumar’s party. Despite being in JDU, he was constantly attacking Nitish Kumar, but due to not getting much support within the party, he separated from JDU and formed his own new party. It is being said that Kushwaha can contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Bihar along with the BJP as a constituent of the NDA. However, it is yet to be formally announced by both the parties.
