Uprooting tribals from their land is a crime against humanity: Harichandan
Raipur. Chhattisgarh Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan has said that if someone evicts tribals from their land, it is a violation of human rights.
In the national workshop organized on the topic of soil, mother and human rights held at Jaidev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar yesterday, the Governor said that tribals should know their rights and human rights. Even today they are deprived of many government facilities. Their rights should not be underestimated.
The Governor said that people belonging to weaker, oppressed and oppressed sections are also deprived of their human rights. Every person has human rights. Every person should get this. The Governor called on all to help fight for the vulnerable to realize their human rights. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to protect human rights. Every aware youth and citizen should raise voice to protect mother, soil and human rights. For this the provisions of the Constitution should be implemented.
Harichandan expressed concern over the rapidly increasing types of pollution on earth. He said that if we do not stop pollution now, it will take the form of an epidemic. Referring to the recent suffering caused to people due to pollution in the capital Delhi, the Governor said that every person should become aware from now on to avoid pollution and protect the country and the state.
