Used to send obscene messages to a girl with fake ID, accused arrested

Jagdalpur. Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police, Shalabh Kumar Sinha, Bastar Police is continuously taking action against criminal elements. In the same sequence, Bastar Police has got success in taking action against the accused who was sending obscene messages and videos by creating a duplicate Facebook ID. It may be noted that on 02.10.2022, the victim lodged a report that an unknown person has created a duplicate Facebook ID of the victim and is harassing her relatives by sending obscene messages and videos from the said ID.

After registering the crime on the report of the applicant, the accused was being continuously traced, the accused was a resident of another state, Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh, for whom the team reached Sidhi and was searching for the address, during the search of the address in Sidhi, it was found that the accused was a resident of DBL Construction Company. He used to work in Korba and then the team took immediate action and reached Nonbirra, Korba and visited different sites of the company. During the search, the accused got wind of the police team and ran away from there by bus towards Sidhi. Who was chased by the police station of Bodhghat, Bastar police station, caught near Chaitma, Korba, interrogated, arrested today on 19.03.24 and presented in the Honorable Court in judicial remand.
