Uttarakhand: Big accident in Chamoli, 10 people died due to electrocution
Heart-wrenching news has come out from Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. 10 people have died due to electrocution here, while many people have been seriously injured. The police administration team, which arrived on the information of the incident, has admitted the injured to the hospital, while the dead have been sent for postmortem. According to the information, the accident happened here due to transformer explosion on the banks of Alaknanda river. SP Chamoli Parmendra Doval confirmed that 10 people died and many were injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and has consoled the families of the deceased. Along with this, CM Dhami has ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident.
