Uttarakhand: Firing again between miscreants and Dehradun police, 3 arrested
Uttarakhand: There has been an encounter between Dehradun police and criminals once again. After the encounter, the police arrested three criminals. In the encounter, a criminal was also shot in the leg. The police is interrogating the criminals. According to the information received, an encounter took place between criminals and police on Friday morning in the forest of Timli Dharmawala in Vikasnagar. During checking at the Darra check post, the criminals riding in a utility vehicle broke the barrier. After breaking the barrier, the criminals started running away.
When the police chased the criminals running towards the forest, the utility vehicle collided with a tree. The police arrested one criminal, while the other criminals fled after firing at the police. In the encounter with the police, a criminal was shot in the leg. The police immediately admitted the injured criminal to the nearest hospital for treatment, from where he was referred. SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh reached Vikasnagar and took information about the injured criminal.
It is known that the criminals arrested in the police checking and encounter, along with their other accomplices, carried out the robbery at gunpoint at the house of a person named Furkan in Khushalpur Sahaspur on the night of 05/06 June. In the incident, the criminals took the plaintiff and his family hostage and fled after looting cash and jewellery from the house. The police had received information through an informer that the criminals involved in the incident were coming back to Dehradun in a utility vehicle to carry out another incident, on which the POLICE had launched a checking campaign.
After the encounter, the police arrested utility driver criminal Ramzani son Ishraq resident Gandewara Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh, Bablu Badshah son Naeem resident Kidwai Nagar, Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh. After the encounter, the police also recovered a 315 bore pistol and two cartridges from Bablu’s possession on the spot. Another accused Aslam Farid son of Latif, resident of Kailashpur Saharanpur, involved in the robbery has also been arrested by the police team.
