Vadodara: Court sentences two accused to five years in molestation and attempt to rape case

Two years ago, in Tulsiwadi area of Vadodara city, two people tried to take away the dignity of a mentally deranged girl. While this case was going on in the court, the court convicted the accused in this crime and sentenced them to simple imprisonment of five years and fine of five thousand rupees. It is pertinent to note here that it was held that the accused should be given a lenient sentence in cases where there is remorse for the crime on the basis of family support.

The court held Sabir alias Shero Karimbhai Sheikh (residence-Bhandwara, Fatepura) and Vicky alias Ravi alias Kalo Kalio Rajubhai Bhitora (residence-Ganesh Nagar Jhupadpatti, Tulsiwadi) guilty of the crime and sentenced them to 5 years imprisonment.
