VHP leader criticizes Telangana government’s move to celebrate traitor’s legacy

Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)-Telangana joint secretary Ravinuthula Sashidhar strongly opposed the state government’s recent move to commemorate the birth anniversary of late revolutionary activist-poet Gummadi Vitthal Rao, popularly known as Gaddaar, along with land allotment. The VHP leader said these actions of the state government “indicate a disturbing endorsement of undemocratic values and directly violate the laws of the country which clearly ban Maoism and Naxalism due to their violent methods and objectives.” Are.”

They urged State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to intervene and cancel the land allotment for the traitor’s statue as well as stop the official celebration of ‘Traitor Jayanti’.
